Scott Furman’s real estate career spans 39 years. In that time, Scott has concentrated his focus on what matters most in the business of buying and selling properties: a positive outcome for his client. With thousands of successful transactions under his belt and a long list of loyal clients, Scott remains driven to provide the best experience possible with every sale, purchase, and interaction with and on behalf of his clients.
Scott’s path to real estate began in his youth, with an interest in architecture, history, and antiques. As a teenager, Scott developed a passion for cars, using his entrepreneurial spirit to start a business restoring and selling them right out of his own driveway in Wayne. But when his high school principal explained that a recent aptitude test revealed that Scott was perfectly suited to a career in real estate, he understood the opportunity in front of him. By his junior year, Scott was already taking classes to earn his real estate license. In 1979, at the age of 21, Scott was a full-time real estate professional.
As a new agent Scott drew inspiration from life lessons learned growing up as the son of a teacher and a well-loved local pediatrician. Scott approached his real estate career with this same instinct and mindset, keeping service and kindness at the forefront of his business practice. Before long, Scott found success across the Main Line, Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties. He purchased RE/MAX Classic, his own real estate company, and began investing in local properties with his younger brother Brett, also successful in real estate.
Today, Scott continues to indulge his love of antiques and all things automotive. He is active in fund-raising for the ALS Hope Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Tracy brings over 19 years of real estate experience to The Scott Furman Group and is known for outstanding client service, high tech marketing techniques and personal touches with the SFG’s client’s best interests at heart. Tracy has a background in real estate marketing and graphic design and is certified in Microsoft Office. She leverages her experience assisting the SFG with all aspects of marketing. This includes making sure their listings have state-of-the-art advertising including innovative social media promotions, custom marketing brochures, blog articles for search engine optimization and more. Tracy obtained her real estate license in 2006 making her experience in the field invaluable to both SFG’s buyers and sellers.
She has many goals in life but her main goal is to build a fulfilling career by helping people by being nothing more than honest and trustworthy. In her spare time, she focuses solely on family time with her husband Paul, son PJ and their newly rescued pup Connor. bryan Bishop mathews
Bryan Bishop Mathews is a local Realtor born and raised in Berwyn, PA. He graduated from Conestoga High School in 2003 and then received his Bachelor’s degree at Temple University. After living and working in Asia for two years and Los Angeles for four, he has made his return to the Main Line to reunite with his beloved community. Bryan has always been involved in art and music. He is currently working on his first album and planning a live performance of his oeuvre!
Moving into his fourth and most successful year in real estate, Bryan loves his career and the clients, contractors and industry professionals that he gets to meet on a daily basis. Believing in the idea that everyone deserves to live their own version of the American dream, Bryan hopes that he can help those whose goal is to buy, sell or rent real estate. One of the most important tenets to his sales philosophy is; make people happy!
